In a series of articles for "Tool, Die & Stamping News", Matt
Miller and Martin Hebel discussed low-cost data mining operation and developed
this board and the StampPlot interface to connect to it.

- Extract to a local directory, then open "start.htm".

Features:

Used for the counting of continual processes
such as press strokes for data logging and retrieval.

Input for 12V proximity switch (open
collector, NPN output).

Capable of storing over 2000 time-stamped
records in non-volatile memory (will be retained if power is lost).

Up to 4 thumbwheel switches for job
identification.

- BS2SX (Though standard BS2 version may be used for other applications).
- Pocket Watch B
- 256K Serial EEPROM
- PAK VIIB Counter from www.awce.com
- Two Parallel to Serial shift registers
- Male and Female Serial Ports (interconnected with crossover)
- Header for LED, proximity sensor, Serial LCD.
